For the

Japan is
not only a very big country, but is also proved to be the world’s most
profitable market for many companies. Especially for the big companies like
Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc.
But now the
last 2-3 year also smaller companies invest heavily in the Japanese market by
opening a lot of new and often very big stores In Tokyo and other cities in
Japan.
It’s very
important when you are in fast moving products to enter early into the Japanese
market, because it can be one of the most profitable business decisions you
will ever make.
If you enter too late in the market, you have a big chance it will become a very bad decision.
The biggest
example in the Japanese market is the one with e-bay and Yahoo!.
While eBay was still considering its Japanese marketing strategy, Yahoo! was a lot faster and now dominates the Japanese market for online auctions. Sadly for eBay, it had to shut down its Japanese website.
